Welcome

CYP Unite has been created with a clear purpose — to bring together those working across the children and young people’s sector to connect, collaborate, and create meaningful change.

Whether you are working in school aged childcare, education, physical activity, safeguarding, wellbeing, or wider support services, we all play a role in shaping outcomes for children and families. By coming together across disciplines and sharing insight, we have the opportunity to influence the sector more effectively and create a lasting, positive impact.

With a mission to strengthen the message of Every Child, Every Opportunity. CYP Unite is a natural extension of that vision, expanding beyond one part of the sector to bring together everyone working with children and young people.

This event marks an exciting milestone as our first major national event, hosted at a flagship venue. We are proud to be welcoming a wide range of attendees, including individuals, organisations and owners working with children and young people across education, health, fitness, leisure, play and childcare, alongside representatives connected to Ofsted and the Department for Education.

CYP Unite builds on the foundations and impact of both SACA and key stakeholder engagement, and we are excited to create an environment where organisations, partners, and providers can connect, share ideas, and contribute to a stronger, more joined up sector.

The Power of 1: Why One Role Model Can Change a Child’s Future

In every school, club, camp and community setting, there are moments when one adult can make a lasting difference. This session explores the power of positive role models in shaping children’s confidence, aspirations and sense of belonging. From teachers and coaches to activity leaders, athletes and mentors, the people working closest to children often have more influence than they realise. Jen Rouse will share why that influence matters, what great role modelling looks like in practice, and how even small actions can create meaningful, long-term impact.

Better Together: The Power of Collaboration Across the CYP Sector

No single organisation can solve the challenges facing children and families alone. Across childcare, indoor play, sport, holiday camps, education and wider support services, stronger outcomes often depend on stronger partnerships. This session explores how collaboration across the CYP sector can create more joined-up thinking, better experiences for children and families, and greater long-term impact. A practical and thought-provoking seminar on the value of shared learning, stronger networks and working better together across a diverse and evolving sector.

As the needs of children and families continue to evolve, inclusion is becoming an increasingly important focus across the CYP sector, particularly around SEND and the need for provision that is more responsive, confident and accessible. This session looks at how organisations can move beyond good intentions and create environments where more children feel welcomed, supported and able to take part. From confidence and communication to environment, training and delivery, the seminar will explore how childcare providers, activity operators, holiday camps, sports organisations and play settings can build more inclusive experiences and create environments where children genuinely feel they belong.

Data Driven Growth with AI- separating Fact from Fiction

AI is dominating the conversation, but where is it genuinely creating value? In this session, Theo Millward cuts through the noise to explore how AI can support real, measurable growth when combined with a clear data-driven marketing approach. Through practical examples, live learning and real-world application, this seminar will share what works, what does not, and how organisations can move beyond buzzwords to use AI with greater confidence, clarity and commercial impact.
